The injection moulding process from conceptualisation to finished product includes five stages.
- Mould design and making: Creating a custom mould tailored to the part’s specifications.
- Machine setup: Configuring the injection moulding machine with the correct parameters.
- Material preparation: Dry the raw material to achieve the best situation,
- Injection moulding cycle: The core process where molten plastic is injected, cooled, and ejected
- Post-processing: Additional steps like trimming, finishing, or quality control
